spellcasterleague.com is a small, independent index of hotels. It covers four categories — art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels — and nothing else.
What goes in
A hotel is included when it clearly belongs to one of the four categories and when there's enough reliable, general information to describe it fairly. We keep each list short. A page with three well-described hotels is more useful than one with thirty thin ones.
The ice category holds a single entry, deliberately. Real ice hotels are few.
How entries are written
Every entry is prose. No scorecards, no star ratings, no tables of amenities. We describe where a hotel is, how it's built, and what a stay there is like. The facts listed under each entry are simple labels, not measurements.
Casino hotels are written up the same way as the rest: as hotels first. The gaming floor is mentioned as one facility among several.
What the site doesn't do
We don't take bookings, process payments or act as an agent for any hotel. No property pays to appear here, and none has approved its description in advance. If you want to stay somewhere, contact the hotel directly.
Keeping it current
Hotels renovate, change owners and close. We revise entries when we learn of changes, but details can still drift. Treat the index as a starting point and confirm anything important with the property.
